To VI HSE Committee, and PVC MACT Working Group,

Thank you to those members that have provided input for the attached updated letter to EPA on regulatory reform and thank you to JC Walker and Greg Clark at Keller and Heckman for the quick aggregation and turnaround on these drafts.  There are still a couple of information gaps which are highlighted in the track change version.  Please review the document to make sure we have covered your comments and provide any additional information to me, Greg Clark, and JC Walker by noon on Monday, May 15.  The submission deadline is the end of the day on Monday and I would like to review any last minute edits with the HSE Committee during our 2:00 pm call.  Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Regards,

Rich

To VI HSE Committee, and PVC MACT Working Group,

Greg Clark of Keller and Heckman has prepared the attached draft of comments to submit with respect to EPA’s Office of Policy request for comments on regulatory improvement (FR notice attached).  Greg has requested the members provide information to augment the comments, and his suggested information requests are highlighted in yellow in the draft letter.  Please review the letter and provide your input on the requested information back to me by COB Thursday, May 11.  We will need to aggregate the comments and provide a final draft for review by COB Friday or early Monday, May 15.  The comments are due to EPA on Monday, May 15.  We recently received additional issues to include, and those will be communicated in a follow up draft.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Regards,

Rich

To VI HSE Committee, VI Eco-Standards Council, and PVC MACT Working Group,

The email below announces EPA’s open forum call next Monday to listen to public comments on air regulation impacts.  EPA is also accepting written comments on this topic as set forth in the attached Federal Register notice.  Comments are due by May 15, 2017.

Our attached comments to the Department of Commerce are a good starting point and may not need significant edits.  Please review the VI’s March 31 submissions and determine what other information may be beneficial to EPA.  Your comments and questions are appreciated.  Here is a link to Monday’s Washington Post article that discusses the range of comments submitted to the Department of Commerce on this subject.
